Farrier Industry Association Logo Design Contest Guidelines & Rules
The Farrier Industry Association (FIA) is challenging our FIA family members to create a new logo for the FIA that may be used for official use in various ways – including the FIA website, social media sites, business cards, printed materials, clothing, or anywhere else FIA chooses.
The competition is open to all FIA members and their employees only.
The FIA Board of Directors will judge and select the winning entry. Entries will be judged on their visual appeal, adherence to the concept promoting the contest, quality of design, and ease of reproduction for the purposes stated above. Late submissions will not be considered. The winning entry will be announced at the AFA Convention in Reno, Nevada in November, 2023. The FIA Board of Directors decision is final.
One winner will receive a furnished booth in MarketPlace for their company at the 2024 AFA Convention to be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Winner will also receive a spotlight in No Foot, No Horse. FIA Board of Directors reserves the right to select a winner, but not use winning logo as the official FIA logo.
FIA will acquire ownership of the winning logo by assignment of copyright, and the winning designer will disclaim any trademarks and without limitation, all other rights related to the design. By submitting a logo for entry in the contest, the designer acknowledges that he/she is the person that created the logo and is the rightful owner. The designer also certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party and that it does not violate any copyright.
