- RSVP TODAY: The annual FIA Business Conference breakfast is Thursday, November 9 from 7:30 – 10 am in Grand Ballroom 5-7. Each FIA member can reserve 2 spots via email to margie@farrierindustry.org. We’re expecting a full room, great discussions, and the latest FIA Hall of Legends induction!
- Rayzin Kane Business Solutions, the onsite embroiderer at the AFA Convention, will have the new FIA logo ready to stitch in Reno. FIA branding will look great with your company logo on hoodies, hats, jackets or any other item that can be embroidered. Bring your gear or purchase from the store at AFA Convention.
- Our next BOD meeting is November 29. Reno recap and start planning for 2024 FIA MarketPlace Chattanooga, November 11 – 15 2024!

Many of your farrier friends and FIA members will be competing on teams to take home the grand prize! The four team leaders are: Hank Chisholm, CJF Dusty Franklin, CJF, AWCF, ASF Jeff Gartner, Visby Products Farrier Supplies Jennifer Horn, CJF This fun and educational event will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 1:30 pm in the Lecture Hall at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The Desperado's Horse
A Desperado rides into town and downs a few drinks at the saloon. When he steps outside again, he finds his horse has been stolen. The Desperado swears, steps back into the bar, and fires a round into the piano. The room goes dead silent. "I'm gonna have one more beer," the Desperado bellows to the terrified crowd, "and if my horse ain't back where I left him when I'm done, I'll do here what I had to do in Houston."
The locals murmur uneasily as the Desperado sips his drink. Lucky for them all, when he steps outside again his horse has been returned. As the Desperado saddles up, a local can't help but ask, "Sir, what exactly was it you had to do in Houston?"
The Desperado narrows his eyes and hisses at the man, "I had to walk home."
